Police confirm date of Uckfield public meeting – it’s tonight

Police have confirmed the date of a public meeting in Uckfield where there will be chance to discuss crime and anti-social behaviour. sussex-police-new-logo-nov-2017

The meeting will be held tonight (Wednesday, May 29) at 6.30pm at the Civic Centre.

Police attending include Assistant Chief Constable Nick May, District Commander Chief Inspector Anita Turner, and Wealden District Inspector Jon Gross.

Insp Gross said: “I am committed to cracking down on crime and anti-social behaviour in Uckfield, and keeping the local community safe.

“The meeting will be a great opportunity to listen to local residents and ensure we are joined up with the community in working together on the way forward.”

The meeting will be held in association with Uckfield Town Council.

Arrests

Last week police said they were continuing to make arrests and work in partnership with the local community in their crackdown on crime and anti-social behaviour in Uckfield. See: Police arrest third teenager following Uckfield assault.
