Plans have been submitted to build a three-bedroom house in a garden at 16 Selby Close, Uckfield.
A design and access statement submitted to Wealden Council covers issues raised by local residents and the council.
Parking: The development includes two off-road parking spaces, one for number 16 and one for the new dwelling.
Public sewers: The house is on the end of the main sewer run and therefore “unlikely to cause any further blockages, as the discharge will flow away from the existing close”.
Concern during the construction phase: “Conditions regarding house of work and parking restrictions for contractors would be fully expected to ensure this does not disrupt the lives of the other residents of the close.”
