Plans for new homes at Buxted, Hadlow Down and Maresfield

Three new homes could be built at Buxted, two at Hadlow Down and one at Maresfield Park, if plans before Wealden Council are approved.

Mr Robin Marten has applied for planning permission to replace commercial and agricultural barns at Grove Farm, Howbourne Lane, Buxted, with three homes.

A pension fund has applied to redevelop at site at Gate House Farm, Stocklands Lane, Hadlow Down. The proposal there is to demolish a farm building, remove water holding tanks and build two detached homes.

And Mr Robin Knight, of Blackboys, has applied for permission to build a new house on land adjacent to The Manor House, The Drive, Maresfield Park.

Renewal of a planning application is also sought by Mr Richard Brocklebank of Broomstick Cottage, Blackboys, to demolish the cottage and outbuildings and build a new home and garage, with associated landscaping.

All the plans are before Wealden District Council which will decide whether they should be approved.
