Plans for five new homes in Isfield

Plans have been submitted to build five new homes in Station Road, Isfield.

A building already on the site at Top Barn would also be extended to include an additional bedroom.

Access would be from Station Road and 18 parking spaces would be provided if plans before Wealden Council are approved.

A statement with the planning application says the Top Barn site is at the edge of the village envelope and has a self-contained enclosed character.

Unique location

The statement says: “The site provides an opportunity to create high quality housing in a unique location.

The house currently on the site has three bedrooms and an extension would create an additional bedroom and a garage.

The five other houses would have four bedrooms.

More details about the planning application can be found on the Wealden Council website. The planning application number is WD/29019/2064/F.
