Paws n Claws is gearing up for late night shopping in Uckfield when there will be mince pies, chocolates and competitions awaiting customers.
In the shop’s Olives Yard car park you will find East Sussex Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service ready to talk about their work, selling merchandise and welcoming donations.
Inside the shop itself there will be a hunt for Reggie the Reindeer. Several Reggies will be hidden around the shelves and with each one will be a letter. When you have found them all the challenge is to put them together to form a word.
Sweets will be available for those who manage to unscramble the letters and form the chosen word.
Other promotions at Paws n Claws include a free raffle. Everybody spending more than £5 will have a free ticket and there will be a draw on Wednesday, December 20, with the prize being a Christmas hamper tailored for an animal of the winner’s choice.
There will be a colouring competition running too, with prizes for under eights and over eights. Entry forms are available in store and the theme is “Christmas picture of my pet”. Those who haven’t got their own pets are encouraged to draw a picture of their favourite animal in a Christmas scene.
They will be chocolate selection boxes for the winners and Christmas stockings made up for the animal of their choice.
There are plenty of gift ideas for pets and their favourite people at Paws n Claws. Owner Justine Aldridge makes up her own doggie and cat Christmas goodie bags, and they are always popular.
Look out too for squeaky toys which include Christmas puds, snowmen and penguins. There are also Christmas stockings for your pets along with advent calendars, and dog-safe chocolate Santas.
There are practical present ideas too, blankets, mats to pick up mud, beds, and dishes.
Everyone is welcome to call in during late night shopping and in the run up to Christmas. Help is always offered with carrying goods to your car in the customer car park.
