Nutley class organises its own Olympics

Badger Class at Nutley Primary School organised its own Olympics to take the place of the usual whole school sports day.

Badger Class children and staff show off their medals after organising their own Olympics at Nutley Primary School.

Sports day was cancelled because of Covid-19 but the Year 6 children decided to go ahead with their own event.

Activities included team races, long jump, distance throwing, and a relay race.

Headteacher Liz Peasgood said every child earned a certificate for being first, second, or third, and added: “The children all gave it 100% effort, with their usual Nutley good humour and team spirit.”
