Next stage of Ridgewood Farm works clearly in view from footpath

Walkers heading from Uckfield town centre to the new park at Little Horsted can view the latest earth-moving works on the Ridgewood Farm 1,000 homes development.

Some of the earth-movers on Ridgewood Farm which are giving the land a new profile

A footpath which takes people from the former farmland towards the tunnel under the A22 to Horsted Green has been diverted to allow the giant machines to reshape the land, ready for later stages of the works.

The route from the town centre takes people behind the Victoria Pleasure Ground pavilion, along the side of the skatepark and then through Boothland Wood and then out on to the former farmland, around the new works, through the tunnel into the new park.
