A new Uckfield Events website has been launched as part of the Uckfield News Network.
It is designed to give people living in and around our town an idea of where to go and what to do both nearby and further afield.
It can be accessed via Events on the Uckfield News website and has its own address too: https://uckfieldevents.com.
If you visit the home page you will see some of the events coming up over the next few days and also links to lists of recurring events – regular classes and meetings – that happen on different days of the week.
All Events, which you will find in the top navigation panel, lists events being advertised on the website in date order, with those taking place soonest at the top of the list.
A calendar shows the days when events are happening and the list of Categories in the right hand column will help you find the way to the type of events that might interest you.
Events coming up in the next few days include the launch of a new Wealden Care Network tonight; Barber Taylor and Reed coming to Framfield on Friday; a steak night at The Grove Farmhouse Cafe at Blackboys on Saturday.
Next week there’s a free seminar on self-employment being led by Dawson Hart; a business trade show at the East Sussex National, a financial drop-in session at Uckfield Civic Centre and a free training day for people who would like to lead health walks in Uckfield.
Uckfield Events has a blog too and those already appearing include:
Advertising event details on the new website is free of charge for members of Uckfield News – organisations that have listings in our Uckfield Directory – and £20 per event for others. See the pricing page here.
We hope you will visit Uckfield Event often for tips on where to go and what to do if you live in Uckfield and surrounding area.
