A new therapist has joined the team at Spa Therapy in Uckfield High Street.

Sarah Bovill offers Ayurvedic healthcare from her room at the day spa at 148a High Street.

At the consultation she will assess your overall health, offer tips on boosting immunity and bringing your body back into balance to help you navigate the coming months.

Sarah says Ayurveda is the science of living well.

She adds: “Food is used as medicine, and that, together with potent herbal supplementation and Ayurvedic abhyanga (hot oil) massage, marma therapy to cleanse blocked energy, and sedation (sweat) therapy, boosts the digestive potential to absorb your food, nourish the body tissues, and optimise immunity, gently bringing your body back into balance so that it can heal and flourish.”

Studying

Sarah has been studying with the Ayurvedic Institute UK for the past two years, and continues studying with them.

She says authentic Ayurvedic healthcare offers a whole body and whole life approach to health, healing at a much deeper level than the physical body on its own.

She wants to empower people to reclaim their health by re-learning how to look after themselves. “Being in balance in body, mind and spirit, is the key to navigating these challenging times.”
