New staff take control at Framfield Primary School

New staff have taken control at Framfield Primary School.

They include replacements for executive head Mrs Jonquil King and head teacher Mrs Jacqueline Davies. A ‘press pack’ was there today to report on developments.

The new team has been recruited within the school but they will only taste power for one day because they are taking part in National Takeover Day, a fun project allowing children to take over adult roles.

The challenge has been taken seriously at Framfield where children were chosen for their part after submitting CVs. As teachers they have produced lesson plans and are ensuring equipment is available when needed.

Five-year-old Saffy was playing the double of head teacher Mrs Davies and zooming around the school making all was running smoothly. Overseeing all, as executive head, was Elmira Horthy. This afternoon she is to attend a meeting at Framfield’s sister school in Blackboys.

Pausing in the corridor are higher level teaching assistant Mrs Sandra Duncan whose role is being played by Ethan Hawkins.

Below are one of the reporters, Jack Barraclough, and main press photographer Oscar Rabson-Stark, who can be seen taking a picture while himself being photographed.
