New sign for revamped Luxford car park, Uckfield

A new sign has gone up at Luxford Field Car Park, Uckfield, now that most of the improvement works have been carried out.

Work began on August 4, to re-surface, put down new lines, clear drainage and gullies and put up new sign posts.

The only job remaining to be done is to upgrade lighting to use modern energy saving LEDs.

There’s information here about a new pay and display car park to be built near the Uckfield Railway Station: Uckfield station car park plan approved.

And we published a story earlier this week about a one-way road system to be introduced near the railway station while the car park is built.
