New role for Downsview Crescent youth centre

The youth centre in Downsview Crescent, Uckfield, is to be renovated and used by Uckfield College to support a variety of students.

A spokesperson for the college told Uckfield News there would be classrooms within the building and it would accommodate the Special Educational Needs and Disability department.

The youth centre in Downsview Crescent which is to be renovated to include classrooms for neighbouring Uckfield College.

A building control application has been submitted to Wealden Council which specifies internal room alterations, toilet upgrade/removal, decorations and floor coverings, but no further detail.

The number of the application is F/190/2295 and it can be seen on the Wealden website.
