New look for Luxfords Restaurant

Luxfords Restaurant has been refurbished and given a fresh contemporary look.

Customer favourites have been retained including comfortable seating, space for pushchairs for mums and toddlers, free wifi and table service.

Along with tables and chairs there are now some Chesterfield sofas and tub chairs for morning coffee catch ups.

There is also a new carpet and blinds.

The restaurant is due to be officially opened by Uckfield Mayor Cllr Spike Mayhew at a themed Italian Opera Dinner on Friday (October 26) when Glyndebourne soprano Thomasis Trezise will entertain diners with some famous opera arias.

There are plans to introduce more themed events in the evening and details will be posted on the Civic Centre website.

First customers in the refurbished Luxfords Restaurant are Jeff and Jacky Holman.
