Music gigs have been booked to take place in Uckfield in 2021 – subject to Covid-19 restrictions.
They are being organised by Graham Pope events and most are due to take place at the Civic Centre – with the exception of one day of the Uckfield Blues and Roots Festival – some in the Weald Hall and others in the Luxford Lounge.
The events are:
Sunday, February 28: Jim Crawford and Ben Tyzack. Luxford Lounge, 7.30-10pm. Tickets £12.
Wednesday, March 3: James Oliver Band and Brave Rival, Weald Hall, 7.30-11pm. Tickets £15.
Sunday, March 21: Edwina Hayes and Kevin Barber, Luxford Lounge, 7.30-10.30pm. Tickets £12.
Sunday, April 18: Barber & Taylor, and Natasha Norodien, Luxford Lounge, 7.30-10.30pm. Tickets £12.
Friday, May 21: Willy Porter and Sam Brothers, Weald Hall, 7.30-10.30pm. Tickets £15.
Wednesday, June 16: Veronica Sbergia and Max De Bernardi, and Joel White, Luxford Lounge, 7.30-10.30pm. Tickets £15.
Wednesday, June 30: Hatful of Rain, Luxford Lounge, 7.30-10.30pm. Tickets £15.
Friday, July 23: Uckfield Blues and Roots Festival, Weald Hall, 7.30-11.15pm.
Saturday, July 24: Uckfield Blues and Roots Festival, Weald Hall, 7.30-11.15pm.
Sunday, July 25: Uckfield Blues and Roots Festival, The Highlands Inn, 12.30-22.30pm. (Outdoors 12.30-6pm, free session; Indoors 7-10.30pm, ticketed).
Other dates and/or venues have yet to be agreed for the following: Mumbo Jumbo, Saints and Sinners (The Spikedrivers with Fran McGillivray and Mike Burke), Aynsley Lister, Kara Grainger, Diana Silveira, Hamilton Loomis.
If Covid-19 restrictions are in place for any of the dates it is hoped Luxford Lounge gigs can be moved to the Weald Hall to enable greater social distancing.
