The long-awaited footbridge replacement at Eridge has also been scheduled.

Over the next few months, engineers will be blast cleaning and repainting the viaduct and carrying out extensive repairs to the steelwork.

At Eridge, just north of Crowborough, the existing staircases and bridge will be replaced with a new modern-designed footbridge.
