More than £3,000 worth of equipment stolen from van

Between £3,000 and £4,000 worth of equipment was stolen from a van in Nevill Road, Uckfield, on Sunday night.Police sign

Police said climbing kit, chainsaws and hedge cutters were stolen after a window in the vehicle was smashed between 10pm and midnight.

They said enquiries into the theft were ongoing and it had yet to be established whether or not this is linked to any other reports in the area.

Anyone who might have seen anyone acting suspiciously is asked to call Sussex Police on 101, quoting serial 1000 of 01.05.
