Mindfulness taster session to be held in Blackboys

A free mindfulness taster session is to be held at The Grove Farmhouse Cafe, in Blackboys.

It will take place on Friday, April 3, from 9.30-10.45am, and will be run by Debbie Horney of Remember Mindfulness who lives in Little Horsted, and runs courses in Uckfield, Ringmer, Hurstpierpoint and Hassocks.

Debbie says the taster is designed for people interested in mindfulness to meet her, learn more about the practice, and see if this is something they would like to do.

She says mindfulness can help with managing chronic pain/illness, reduce stress, depression OCD, IBS, fatigue, high blood pressure, addictive behaviour, and anxiety, and also help improve general well-being.

Awareness

Her courses are designed wake-up awareness of, and responsiveness to, thoughts, attitudes, emotions and behaviours.

She adds: “Within us all, we have the resources to bring ourselves growth, change and healing with an improved quality of life.”
