Maria Mann who launched The Beauty Spot in Uckfield 12 years ago is about to open a new aesthetics clinic just a few doors away from her first business.
Maria has been pressing ahead with refurbishing 82 Newtown, a former barber’s shop, during lockdown and is ready to open Maria Carmen Aesthetics on April 12 – Coronavirus restrictions allowing.
Maria is thrilled to see her dream of opening an aesthetics clinic coming true.
She has wanted to run her own aesthetics practice since she first began work in the beauty industry but there was no pathway for her to follow apart from going back to university, and she couldn’t do that with a young family to take care of.
She said: “Eventually the pathway opened. I began training and am now a qualified advanced aesthetics practitioner and semi-permanent make-up artist.”
Maria has access to a medical professional team 24 hours a day so customers can rest assured they are in good hands.
She also has First Response training in Levels 3 and 4 to ambulance grade, and she has her Level 3 administration of life-saving medication among other safeguard training.
Maria says she has a fantastic management team and an amazing team who will run The Beauty Spot as she concentrates on the new business.
She has accreditation to run a training academy so will continue to train her own staff at The Beauty Spot, and she has developed her own TBS skincare and make-up brand.
Maria also launched her own professional TBS Gel Polish range at Olympia last month.
She says growing her business and now launching Maria Carmen Aesthetics has been possible because of hard work and commitment, training, and investment, so that clients can be offered the latest treatments using the highest quality products and equipment.
