Manor school council awards Children in Need prizes

The school council at Manor Primary organised a day of events to raise funds for Children in Need yesterday.

Pictured with best-dressed Pudsey and Blush bears at Manor Primary School yesterday are councillors’ vice-chair Demi West, ten, back left, and chair Fleur Hunt, ten. The winners, from the left, are Theo Hook, Grace Richardson, Daisy Blight, and Felicity Connelly.

Children were encouraged to dress up as Pudsey Bear, or his friend Blush Bear, on a non-uniform day and the school council awarded prizes for being best-dressed to Theo Hook, four; Grace Richardson, five; Daisy Blight, four, and Felicity Connelly, seven.

The children each donated £1 to the cause, or £1.50 per family. There was also a drawing competition, and Golden Time, a half-hour session where teachers choose a fun activity, was devoted to Children in Need too.
