Police confirm that a man was arrested during the early afternoon in Uckfield yesterday following a domestic incident in Crowborough.
Townspeople commented on the Uckfield Talk Facebook page about seeing a man arrested in New Town and also about a helicopter circling the town.
A police spokesperson said the helicopter was not connected with any incidents in Uckfield, that was ‘something in Brighton’.
