There was lots of coffee-drinking and cake eating in and around Uckfield yesterday as businesses threw their efforts into raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
They were taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and we show some of those involved below. In addition there was a special Macmillan Coffee Train running at the Bluebell Railway and The Beauty Spot treated customers too.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning continues today at High Hurstwood Village Hall and all are invited to drop in for refreshments between 9am and 1pm.

Kylie Manville, Lauren Saunders, and David Clark, fund-raising for Macmillan at W E Clark and Son jewellers. Lots of supportive customers helped raise £191.72.

Debbie Lynam, Tony Fear, and Karen Crisp at Fuller and Scott funeral directors where £130 has been raised so far in memory of local artist Sheila Hay. A display of Sheila’s work can also be seen in the window of their Civic Approach premises.
