London Bridge closes to Southern trains from Saturday

London Bridge will be closed to Southern trains – including those on the Uckfield line – between Saturday, December 20, and Sunday, January 4, 2015.

This is because of Thameslink work.

Southern says there are measures in place to ensure that passengers are able to use their Southern tickets to get to their London destination on London Underground, London buses and other train operators.

Full details are available on the Southern website.

The new Southern winter timetable is now available. It runs from Monday, January 5, until Saturday, May 16.

There are changes across the network as work to rebuild London Bridge continues, as part of the £6.5bn Thameslink Programme.

Passengers are advised to check before they travel by contacting National Rail Enquiries on 084 48 49 50 or by visiting nationalrail.co.uk.

New picket timetables can be picked up at any staffed Southern station or can be downloaded from southernrailway.com.
