Kings Church Uckfield launches online course

Kings Church in Uckfield is launching an online course to explore the Christian faith.

It is called 321 and will be accessed over Zoom.

Lawrence Mudford, one of the church leaders said it would be an easy-to-access, three-week video and discussion series based on The Story of God, the World and You.

Lawrence said: “One of the more positive aspects of lockdown, is that many of us have a little more spare time – and we have also learnt how to use online apps to communicate.”

The course starts on Tuesday, June 30, and will run for three consecutive Tuesday evenings starting at 7.30pm.

Lawrence said each video would be around 15 minutes long and presented by Glen Scrivener.

He added: “Perhaps you’re already familiar with Christian beliefs or maybe they are completely new to you. Whatever the case, this is a fresh telling of the Christian story that assumes no prior knowledge.

“All you need is a computer, tablet or smart phone which has the Zoom app downloaded, a mug of tea or coffee to hand – and maybe a biscuit – and have an open mind to start the exciting journey to explore the Christian faith.”
