Getting muddy for charity are, from the left, Louise Ridley, Harriet Pavey, Charlotte Terry, Emma Beadle and Emma Callow. All work for Kamsons Pharmacy.

A Kamsons team took part last year too and raised more than £1,600. This year’s fund-raising is on-going and if you would like to help donations can be made here.

The runners wanted to help Cancer Research as a colleague lost her fight to the disease this year, and one of the team is currrently supporting a family member receiving palliative care because of cancer.

Emma said they really enjoyed being involved in the race. “It was great for staff morale and raising money at the same time was a bonus.”

Most of the team live in Uckfield and surrounding area and work in Kamsons branches at The Meads and in the High Street. Louise is a Pre Reg based at Pulborough at the moment but lives in Uckfield and started her career as a Saturday girl in the High Street branch.
