Don't miss the first off-peak train: it departs one minute earlier

Just a minute! Earlier start for Uckfield Line train

The first off-peak train from Uckfield departs at 08:33 from today (May 16).

It is one minute earlier than the previous timetable.

The Uckfield Line service is also timetabled to depart Buxted and Crowborough one minute earlier.

From Eridge onwards, the train will run to the previous timetable.

Arrival at London Bridge is timetabled for 09:54 – the same as the previous timetable.

Southern’s new timetable starts from today (May 16) and runs until September 30.

During the operation of this timetable, passengers can look forward to longer trains.

A date for the introduction has yet to be announced, although July remains the likely date.

Work on platforms along the line, including Uckfield, is visibly nearing an end.
