The part-time role is for 17.5 hours a week, 3.30-7pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend working. Overtime may be available.
The successful applicant will work as part of a team of four premises staff, ensuring the college environment and premises are maintained to the required high standard.
Applications are invited from candidates who may have experience in caretaking or building maintenance, although this is not essential as full training will be provided.
Candidates should be well motivated and flexible in their approach to work. Some weekend hours may be required. The post includes working during school holidays where hours may be adjusted to suit activity.
The salary – East Sussex Single Status Local Pay Structure – will be Grade 4 (£16,123 to £16,781 per annum) pro rata, with the actual salary equating to £7,625 to £7,937 per annum.
