Holy Cross schoolchildren take a ‘flight’ with Virgin Atlantic

Thirty children from Holy Cross Primary School, Uckfield, have been on a visit to Virgin Atlantic’s training centre in Crawley.

They took a ‘flight’ in one of the cabin simulators, played the part of cabin crew demonstrating safety procedures and experienced a simulated take-off.

They also learnt about the training cabin crew have ready for survival situations and the teachers were given the opportunity to descend down one of the escape slides.

The visit was arranged through one of the parents as part of the children’s learning journey of holiday and celebration.
