Paynes Heating and Plumbing Services has won an award for efficiency from the Worcester Bosch Group.
The Blackboys-based company won its award for collaboration after working with Basingstoke Council and YES Energy Solutions to install air-to-air heat pumps in mobile homes.
Andy Payne, director at Paynes Heating and Plumbing Services said: “It’s always great to be part of projects that can really make a difference to the property owners.
Never done before
“We loved joining forces with the councils and YES Energy Solutions to get involved with this idea, particularly as it was something that had never been done before.
“It was great to get people off old oil or electric systems and provide them with an effective and efficient solution to help reduce their bills.”
The Worcester awards for installers were established in the year 2000 and are designed to promote best practice and reward those who have demonstrated their commitment to sustainable heating and hot water solutions, and renewable technologies.
Paul Williams and Roger Webb from the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering were on hand at the awards, held at Stanbrook Abbey in Worcestershire, to congratulate the installers who were recognised for the outstanding, energy-efficient solutions they have provided for their customers.
