Children from all years at Harlands Primary School, Uckfield, took part in a sponsored Race for Life this afternoon (July 6).
They are raising money for Cancer Research UK.
First away were pupils of Year 6 who put in laps around a track marked out on the school field.
All other year groups took part, as did the children of the Ducklings nursery.
The school hopes to raise many hundreds of pounds for the charity – last year’s event topped £3,500.
It is the second year running that Harlands has staged a Race for Life.
Laura Fair, the Interim Head of School, said the charity was chosen because the school had been affected by the disease.
