A refurbished library and new books are on the way to Harlands Primary School, Uckfield – thanks to the pupils bouncing around.
A sponsored fun time was held yesterday (March 27) in the school hall, organised by the school’s Friends group.

Parents helped as children from the nursery up to Year 6 went on a bouncy castle, bounced balls, skipped, negotiated large hoops placed on the floor with a hop skip and jump and played “keepy uppy’ with balloons.
Aimee Payne, who chairs the Friends group, said the money raised would help pay for a refurbished library, including new books, especially on World War 2, which was a new topic for the children.
