Hand print canvas is reminder of school music festival

Hand prints in a variety of colours, shapes and sizes were added to a canvas at a music festival at St Philip’s School, Uckfield, this summer and now they are to be displayed within the school.

The canvas was donated by one of the dads at the school and it has now been stretched by Uckfield Framing Company over a bespoke lightweight wooden frame.

Tim Benians, from Uckfield Framing Company, said the canvas was more than three metres wide and that made it an interesting piece to handle in their Bellbrook workshop.

There’s more about Philfest and how the money raised at the music festival has gone towards a new school playground here: Children enjoy new school playground.
