Teaching assistant Lorraine West has great memories of this year’s Rugby World Cup because she attended many of the top games including the quarter finals, semi finals and final at Twickenham.
Lorraine, who works at Buxted Primary School, was a volunteer during the competition with a role in spectator services. She helped fans take thousands of photos and to enjoy their day.
Lorraine told Uckfield News she was a games maker at the Olympic and Paralympic Games and also enjoys volunteering at Park Run, so when she heard about The Pack, the Rugby World Cup volunteers, she applied and was initially given the two games at Brighton, USA Samoa and “the breathtaking Japan South Africa game”.
Thanks to Lorraine for sending us her pictures taken at Twickenham the home of England rugby.
