Former Uckfield estate agency shop let

Premises formerly used by an estate agent in Uckfield High Street have been let.

Commercial agents Oldfield Smith & Co said the double fronted shop has been let on full quoting terms to a new tenant who will complete a comprehensive shop-fit prior to opening and trading.

Richard Oldfield said there was a “good demand for retail premises in Uckfield and the Wealden towns in general”.

He urged people to contact Oldfield Smith & Co is they had space available or were considering relocation.

The shop just let, at the northern end of the High Street, was formerly occupied by Taylor Tofts.

It was marketed as having an excellent window display with office to the rear as well as meeting room, stores, kitchen and cloakroom.

No announcement has been made on who has taken the premises.

New agency

Taylor Tofts joined forces with Dixon Vince last month to form a new estate agency, Vince Taylor Tofts which occupies premises close by on the corner of Church Street and the High Street.
