Flowers are blooming in an Uckfield garden

Last month I mentioned sweet peas needing help to climb up their canes. This month they are looking wonderful.  It’s great to pick a few stems and display them in the house because they smell lovely!

Talking of flowers that smell good the roses have really come into their own. I keep dead-heading to ensure the bush can continue to flourish. The picture here captures their beauty, writes the Uckfield News Anonymous Gardener.

The Zinnia which were grown from seed in the green house and then planted into a pot outside have flowered.

And the nasturtiums and fuchsia are looking good too.

For the last few months we have been following the story of the dahlias which were grown from tubers. This month they have been in full flower and are looking wonderful.
