Family holds fund-raiser to celebrate Mark Skelton’s life

Family and friends gathered in the Highlands Inn, Uckfield, to celebrate the life of Mark Skelton on what would have been his 60th birthday.

Karen, Mark’s widow, along with his daughter Holly, and son Matthew, organised the celebration but also wanted it to be a fund-raiser for several cancer charities.

They did really well and, thanks to son Matthew having his legs waxed, stepson Ryan having his head shaved, and collection tins going around the pub, a total £1,140 was raised for Lymphoma, Cancer Research and Macmillan nurses.

Karen, Holly and Matt would like to thank all who attended, plus generous Highlands customers, and Matt Ridley of the Highlands Inn for hosting them.
