Estate agents Mansell McTaggart are settling into new offices in Uckfield.
They have moved a few doors along the road from 212 High Street to 204-206 High Street and are delighted with the new space.
Director Avin Jay said they were pleased to have transformed a derelict building – once the Dragon Inn Chinese restaurant – to modern, light, bright premises.
His team appreciated the thumbs up they were getting from passers-by spotting the changes.
Mansell McTaggart which has offices across Sussex, selling town, country, land, and new homes, has been in Uckfield since 2003. Avin has been a director for nearly 11 years and it was his ambition to move offices by his tenth anniversary.
He said: “It took a little longer than I hoped but it is good to have better facilities with a modern feel and to be more visible in town.”
He added that the move came during a good year for Mansell McTaggart. “We are seeing the business going from strength to strength.”
• A new tenant has been found for the previous Mansell McTaggart premises according to chartered surveyors Oldfield Smith & Co but details are not yet being revealed about the business.
