Two Uckfield estate agents Dixon Vince and Taylor Tofts have joined forces to form a new agency Vince Taylor Tofts.
The merger follows the retirement of Lance Dixon from Dixon Vince, and brings together Julian Vince with Richard Taylor and Chris Tofts from Taylor Tofts.
The trio and their teams are now merged at 87 High Street on the corner of High Street and Church Street.
Works of art
They launched their business, with new branding, a week ago and Vince Taylor Tofts sign boards – they call them ‘works of art’ – can be seen in and around town.
The ‘works of art’ thought ties in nicely with their line that they specialise in the ‘art of moving’.
Richard said: “We focus on moving people. This is a people business and isn’t dominated by meeting sales targets.”
Chris said they wanted something completely different for their branding, moving away from traditional geometric designs, and they have achieved a colourful and fun alternative.
Spot the birds in the signs. They are flying the nest on a green and blue background when the home is For Sale, perching in red when they are Under Offer and nesting in yellow for Sold.
There was no contest when Vince Taylor Tofts decided on their business premises. They reckon those occupied by Dixon Vince are the best in town and Richard and Chris are pleased to have joined Julian in this prominent position.
Julian said the three of them had always been friendly competitors and they are pleased to have combined forces now giving them what they believe to be an unbeatable partnership.
Vince Taylor Tofts is open seven days a week and has exclusive representation in London at offices in Mayfair.
