Easter fun at Parklands, Maresfield

Maresfield residents synchronised Easter fun with partying on their own front lawns and drives.

Three different DJs provided the music at Parklands and there was bingo too as the party went on, with social distancing in place, until 9.30pm.

There were eggs and sweets for children too with an Easter bunny and chick delivering them.

The event was suggested by Parklands resident Stef Wright who has been running the Maresfield Coronavirus support group.

Event organisers Alex Butcher and partner Colleen Clear have also been assisting the Brighton and Hove homeless, who have been moved into hotels, hostels and B & Bs.

They have transported food from a cafe in Hove to St Mungo’s Outreach Service based at Holland Road Baptist Church.
