About Kilnwood Studio

Kilnwood Studio, which can be found at the top of Uckfield High Street, gives you the chance to paint your own pottery, either in the studio or at home, and then have it glazed and fired for a professional finish.

This is a fun activity for children and adults. You can choose from a wide range of pottery, including plates, mugs, pots, ornaments and more and you don’t have to be Van Gough to get creative. Simply put brush to bisque and let your imagination run wild.

Space in the studio is limited due to the need for social distancing. Studio sessions, of up to two hours, are available from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am-5pm by appointment only.

Alternatively, why not enjoy all the fun of pottery painting in the comfort of your own home? Kilnwood Studio Decorate at Home Packs will provide everything that you need to decorate your pottery at home.

Pottery may also be decorated using Foam Clay. This is a pliable clay made of foam beads that air-hardens, so there is no need to return pottery for finishing. Packs are available from the website via the on-line shop.

Take away party packs can also be put together, if you are planning a larger family or group event.

The studio is Covid-19 safe with hand sanitiser available at either end.

Either way, she will always do her best to ensure that you have a fun and relaxing experience!
