There will be a day of fund-raising in High Hurstwood Village Hall on Saturday, September 28 and all are invited to attend.
The day will begin with the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and will conclude with Let’s Rock the Hall, a music event, in the evening.
Funds raised at the concert will be split between Macmillan and The Kit Wilson Trust for Animal Welfare.
Drop in
You are welcome to drop in at the coffee morning, from 9am to 1pm, to enjoy cake, coffee, and socialising.
Tickets are available for Let’s Rock the Hall from Matt de Land, who is organising both events, by calling 07790 277731.
Matt, a retail manager, who lives in High Hurstwood, enjoys fund-raising for charity in his spare time.
Concert
He said: “There’s nothing better than seeing people enjoying themselves at a concert and knowing that money from ticket sales and raffle sales will go to charity. This time there will be 50% for Macmillan and 50% to The Kit Wilson Trust, a local charity.”
Let’s Rock the Hall, which begins at 7pm, will include three tribute acts for George Michael, Michael Jackson and Cher. There will also be food available and a licensed bar.
Tickets are £20 each, with concessions, including for children, at £10.
