Ryan was one of the finest cricketers ever to don the Uckfield shirt and one of the finest people too, writes club member Tom Grimes.

The game on Sunday will feature a number of Uckfield legends who were privileged to play alongside Ryan, playing against a current UACCC XI.

There will be a barbecue from 1pm, with the game itself, which promises to be action packed, starting at 2pm.

A fully stocked bar will be open throughout, and there will be a raffle with a host of prizes, including a meal for two at Pizza Express. All proceeds will go to Ryan’s young family.

All are welcome, so please come down for a few drinks and enjoy what promises to be a sunny afternoon of exciting cricket for an excellent cause.
