Public consultation begins this month on proposals for new housing and business development in Wealden.
Information leaflets will be sent to more than 60,000 homes and exhibitions and drop-in sessions are to be held across the district. There will be one at Uckfield Civic Centre on Saturday, July 25, from 10am-1pm.
The consultation presents ideas and asks for people's views about the sort of place Wealden should be over the next 20 years, especially where future housing and jobs should go and how many should be provided at different locations.
More information is provided on the Wealden Council website at www.wealden.gov.uk/ldf. This is due to be updated with the latest documents tomorrow and hard copies should be available from Monday (July 6). (Added to site Thursday, July 2, 2009)
