Children entertain friendship club members

Children from Rocks Park School entertained members of the Uckfield Housebound and Friendship Club over a harvest tea.

Headteacher Andy Best welcomed the visitors in this the 40th year of the school.

Year Two children sang songs, and Year Four children did a rap version of a harvest song.

Year Six children brought out project books on World War 2 for members to discuss with them while others served sandwiches, cakes, and biscuits along with tea and coffee.

Housebound and friendship cub members said they were grateful to Mr Best and his team for the work they did to make this an enjoyable afternoon. And they said a big thank you to the children.
