Chance to exhibit your work at Uckfield arts and crafts fair

Artists living in Uckfield and surrounding area are coming together to exhibit their work at a fair in town this summer – and space is available for more to join them.

Photographers, weavers, jewellers, painters, printers, potters and embroiderers are invited to take professional stands.

And people interested in running creative workshops for adults and children during the festival are also welcome to come forward.

Bridge Arts

The fair is organised each year by the Bridge Arts community group and held at The Civic Centre, Uckfield.

It will be open free of charge to the public from 3-9pm on Friday, June 15, and from 10am-5pm on Saturday, June 16.

A Pimms reception on the Friday from 7-9pm will celebrate the opening and be attended by exhibitors, gallery contacts, sponsors, and special guests.

The next day prizes will be awarded for a children’s art competition with prizes donated by Bridge Arts member and published poet Audrey Haney.

Stands and workshops

Stands are available at the arts and crafts fair for £40 (a four metre display area) and £30 (two metre display area). Tables and chairs are provided free of charge and there is no commission fee for sales.

There is also a £10 annual fee to join Bridge Arts and this enables members to be the first to be invited to take part in other shows and pop-up events throughout the year.

It costs £15 to host a workshop, to help cover publicity and venue costs but this, and the cost of supplies, can be recouped by charging a small amount to participants.

Registration Form

If you are interested in taking part please request a copy of the Registration Form from artist coordinator Annie Mills at, or download an interactive pdf from the Bridge Arts website at

Space will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis with the closing date on Friday, May 4.
