A Cards for Good Causes Christmas shop has opened again at Bridge Cottage ready for the run-up to the festive season.
This is the fourth year the shop has been based at the historic cottage and it is open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 4pm, and on Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.
On display are Christmas cards from 32 national and local charities, including for the first time Motor Neurone Disease Association and Uckfield Preservation Society.
There are gifts too, including traditional advent calendars, candles, festive paper napkins, tea towels, wrapping paper and gift tags with a Christmas theme.
Cards for Good Causes is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to provide charities with at least 70p in the pound from the sales of packs of Christmas cards. The remainder is spent on running pop-up shops.
Manager Nicholas Howell is pleased to welcome new and regular customers who are greeted by friendly volunteers, many there on behalf of their own favoured charity.
