Cards for Good Causes opens at Bridge Cottage, Uckfield

Cards for Good Causes opened a pop-up shop at Bridge Cottage in Uckfield this morning.

On sale are charity Christmas cards, calendars, advent calendars and candles, wrapping paper, gifts, tea towels, and children’s toys suitable as stocking fillers.

The shop will be open from Tuesday to Saturday each week, from 10.30am to 4.30pm.

The shop is staffed by volunteers and manager Nicholas Howell said most of the money raised through sales goes to participating charities. The remainder goes on VAT and the cost of running the temporary shop.
