Ridgewood FC are champions of the Mid Sussex Football League Division Six. They won the title on Sunday, less than two weeks after winning the Malins Challenge Cup.

Ridgewood FC players, champions of division six in the Mid Sussex Footbal League.

This time they played away to Ditchling Seconds in Poynings and needed one point from the game to secure the division six win.

Tessa McCracken, who took these photographs, said it was a match awash with controversial refereeing decisions where more yellow cards were awarded than goals scored but Ridgewood kept their heads securing a 5-0 victory.

Tessa said mention must be made of the sportsmanship displayed by Ditchling in a tense game.

Now Ridgewood have their sights on the treble because next week they play AFC Ringmer II in the final of the Parsons Challenge Cup. The match will be played in Burgess Hill on Tuesday.

Two challenges down and one more to go for Ridgewood FC who are aiming for the treble.
