Air ambulance takes Hadlow Down crash victim to hospital in Brighton

The Kent, Surrey and Sussex air ambulance was called to the scene of a road accident at Hadlow Down on Friday.

One man suffering chest injuries was taken to hospital in Brighton.

* The Air Ambulance service in Kent, Surrey and Sussex costs around £5 million annually to stay airborne.

Receiving no statutory funding the charity relies almost entirely upon the generosity of the public to support the two helicopters, based at Marden and Dunsfold.
