Air ambulance lottery winner from Uckfield

An Uckfield resident has scooped second prize in the latest Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance draw.

The draw took place yesterday (March 1) and £250 was won by Michael Field, of Uckfield.

The lottery costs £4 a month with weekly winners of £25 to £1,000 and the Superdraw costs £8 a month with a maximum jackpot of £25,000. To join the charity’s lottery call 01622 833833 or go to

The air ambulance is an independent charity, funded almost entirely by the public. Its doctor and paramedic teams can deliver all the skills and equipment of an A&E department to critically ill and injured patients – wherever and whenever it is needed.

Talks to local groups

The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance has speakers who will attend meetings of groups and organisations and give a talk.

Spokesman Jamie Cheshire said: “We love to get out into the community and talk to people about our work.

“We offer talks, free of charge, to groups of any size, age or demographic and are lucky to have valued volunteer speakers in Kent, Surrey and Sussex, who enjoy spreading the word.”
