Air ambulance flies in to help cardiac patient

The helipad at the East Sussex National, Little Horsted, was used by the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.

They were answering a call to a patient with a cardiac problem on Tuesday, November 28.

They were called at 12.33pm and took the patient by helicopter to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.

South East Coast Ambulance personnel was also present with the Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) team.

The helicopter was also in the Uckfield area on November 23.

The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance responds to patients who have suffered trauma or serious medical emergencies. It is a charity.
